“PRACTICING OUR FUTURE”
May 17 - May 21Free
Rather than stumbling blindly into our future, it is much better for us to create it. But, for those who have tried, we know the difficulties and obstacles (internal and external) in trying to create something new. In this week, we will explore the path to a future that works for all, as well as exploring the challenges along the way… conceptual, global and local.
Format: Live gatherings, from 10am to 5pm each day and Bring a bag lunch. We will gather with plenty of space in the large loft of the barn and be outside as much as possible.
Lodging: Loft, yurt and camping space available for an additional fee.
Cost: $125 for the week (central time)
Shariff Abdullah will conduct an intensive in-person training at The Light Center. Shariff is an award-winning author and advocate for inclusivity. Shariff will bring his decades of experience in community work in the US and in 45 countries around the world. It is not sufficient for us to think only from our own limited cultural experiences. It is important that our vision for the future include ALL BEINGS, including those who are very different from ourselves.
Register soon, as space will be limited.
