About this event:

Created by Kelly Ludden

The Light Center 1542 Woodson Rd, Baldwin City, KS 66006, USA
$25 - $60
This annual retreat for survivors of suicide loss began in 2007. Freedom of Expression is a day and night to unplug from technology, plug into Mother Nature, relax and refresh yourself. A time to share compassionate conversations & healthy meals with others who have lost loved ones to suicide. Adults and children with their adults are welcome. This might be your first experience with a group of people living with suicide grief, or it may be one of many. People may participate in all or part of this retreat. This year’s retreat is dedicated to Healing After Suicide group member Tom Mulder, father of Jack, and brother of Bill, who each died by suicide. Tom died with pancreatic cancer on June 28, 2019.
Freedom of Expression is hosted by: Rose Eiesland Foster, LMSW; Robin Goff, RN, BSN, MAV; and Marcia Epstein, LMSW
